You were able to dump the patches in its ROMs to disk? That sound very
interesting. Anyone have any idea if it is possible to dump any of the
patches in a Technics PR307 keyboard to disk? It has a built-in disk
drive, but it can only load/save MIDI files, songs in its own file
format, rhythm stuff, and other settings. Maybe there is an undocumented
call or something since the store owner did show me, but didn't tell me
how to do it, and undocumented demo trick that allows you to isolate some
parts of the grand piano sample, ie. tone, hammer sounds, etc.
I'd appreciate any help. I just I hope I don't have to do the hard way,
digitizing the sample and set all of those loops and envelopes, etc.
Thanks,
-George

I wonder if it's possible to use the CDs Roland sells (Dance, Ambient Sampler Libraries)
with a normal PC CD-ROM with a GUS ?
CM.

Subject: SB midi port, Gus wave table
i have a gus and sb, and would like to find out
how to fix this problem:
when i plug in the gus's Midi box to the SB (they
should be compatible!), the light turns on brightly
and stays on....a problem!!!
i would like to send midi to the keyboard thru the
SB, rather than the Gus, because my sequencer program
runs in Dos and it recognizes only the SB midi port!!!
(it's sequencer plus gold by voyetra)
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
